It’s time that thoughts of houseplants go out the window as I start to think of flowers and bulbs.
Every gardener dreams of flowers from March to December. This is easy to do for a bit of money or plant swap.
Below is a chart of bulbs and planting times.
How many to plant? No worries if you can’t fill the bed. If you dig up a daffodil that’s been in the ground several years you may find 2 or 3 smaller bulbs. By seed it is quite a long wait for another plant.
No matter what you plant as March ends look for those tips of green.
